Premenopause or hormonal imbalance?

lea asked:

Hi! I’m 30 and I have some premenopause symptoms like occasional hot flashes , migraines, occasional night sweats, dizziness, PMS (worse and longer than usually), breast tenderness, anxiety, depression, insomnia, BUT my period is still regular, no change in flow either. Can it be premenopause? What’s the difference between hormonal imbalance and premenopause anyway?
Year ago my gyno told me that I have PCOS, but I had only 1 small cyst and read on Internet than PCOS is diagnosed when more than 8 cysts are present. Do you think that PCOS could cause these symptoms now, even though I didn’t have them at the time when I was diagnosed with it? (I had some weight gain, mood swings, fatique, hair loss, shorter period than usually and acne at that time).
Thanks a lot for your time!
